- 65 lb cardstock
- Scoring Knife or Plastic knife
- Ruler or Protractor
- Scissors
Directions for Paper Leaves
Leaf 1
Cut the paper in the size of the leaf you want.
Fold in half.
Cut out the design for a basic leaf.
Accordion style fold the leaf so that when you open the leaf it has ridges.
Leaf 2
Cut the paper in the size of the leaf you want.
Fold in half.
Cut out the design for the leaf.
Using a pencil make marking for ridges in the leaf.
Cut on the line for the markings that were done to make ridges on the leaves.
Using a ruler or protractor from the middle of the leaf to in-between the ridges make light folds.
Leaf 3
Cut the paper in the size of the leaf you want.
Fold in half.
Design on the half side of the sheet the leaf.
Cut out the design and unfold the leaf.
Using a ruler or protractor from the middle of the leaf to in-between the ridges make light folds.
Leaf 4
Cut the paper in the size of the leaf you want.
Fold in half.
Design on the half side of the sheet the leaf with it to be more ridged that the other leaves.
Cut out the ridged leaf.
In-between the ridges cut curves/waves.
Using a plastic knife or scoring knife make indents in the paper so that it looks more life-like and not flat.
Leaf 5
Cut the paper in the size of the leaf you want.
Fold in half.
Design on the half sheet of paper the leaf that is curved but also has some stripes out of it.
Using a plastic knife or scoring knife make indents and lightly curl the edges in the paper so that it looks more life-like and not flat.
Leaf 6
Cut the paper in the size of the leaf you want.
Fold in half.
Using a ruler or protractor keep a tiny amount of space from the fold of the paper to draw a straight line from top to bottom.
Design the rest of the leaf using big leafs that connect to the straight line.
Erase the straight line from the middle of the paper.
Cut out the leaves and the stem of the leaf.
Unfold the leaf.
Using a plastic knife or scoring knife make indents and lightly curl the edges in the paper so that it looks more life-like and not flat.

Cut the paper in the size of the leaf you want.
Fold in half.
Design the leaf.
Cut out the design of the leaf.
From the middle of the leaf draw a straight line from top to bottom.
Cut multiple times from a 45 degree angle from the edge of the leaf to the line that was just drawn. Do not cut past the line or across each line that has already been cut.
Unfold and curl the edges so it looks more life like.

Fold in half.
From the folded edge using a ruler draw a straight line from top to bottom.
Draw your leaves on the folded paper from the straight line.
Cut out the leaves and unfold.
Using a scoring knife add indents and folds into the paper so that it looks more life like.

Fold in half.
Cut out the long leaf from the halved paper.
Using a plastic knife or scoring knife make indents and lightly curl the edges in the paper so that it looks more life-like and not flat.
