Thanksgiving PaperPapers Card

Send Thanks This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving PaperPapers CardDuring Thanksgiving, we give thanks for family, friends, and the kindness in our world that we sometimes forget.

Starting with a full 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of Curious Skin, Emerald score and fold it in the middle of the sheet. Have a sheet of Stardream Metallic, Copper cut to 7 3/4” x 5 3/8” and centered over the Emerald. Next, have a sheet of Wild, Clay cut to 4 7/8” x 7 3/8” and centered over the Copper. Lastly, on top, we use the Pop-Tone, Pink Lemonade which is cut to 4 7/8” x 5 3/8” and placed on top of the Clay. Before the Pink Lemonade is taped onto the Clay make sure to punch a leaf into it.

Refer to the photo as you go along and if you want to change any of the any of the measurements you are definitely welcome to do so.

For a little more shine, add some FAV Shimmer, Garnet Plum cut to 4 7/8” x 1 1/2” and centered 1/8” to the right of the Clay.

On the Pink Lemonade, a Permapaque Pigment Marker was used to make a line of dots and dashes on the right-hand side. The stamp of warm greetings is by Stampendous Stamps, and applied with StazOn, in black, or any color you love best.

The four main papers are used for the burst of color in the leaves: Basis in Teal Orange, and Dark Red, along with Cranes, Azure Blue.

In order to make the colorful collection of leaves, take some double sided tape and add strips of color across the top. Leave a few gaps and add some Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes, or glitter, or anything shiny. Note that some leaves are all one color and some are multicolor. Also punch a leaf from Shine, Red Satin. Some punches do better with the text-weight so it is best to experiment a little beforehand.

**Everything in this craft is attached together with Scor-Tape except for the smaller embellishments that are simply too small for the tape.
