Wonderful Christmas Interior Decorating Ideas
Christmas is coming soon. My mom always does a great job to decorate our home. Now that it’s my tradition, I can do it on a budget with the help of paper ornaments. In the following weeks, I would love to share the fun ideas I collected and we can prepare our Christmas party together. Make sure to check below for all our Christmas Interior Decorating Ideas!
Let’s start from the handmade ornaments on the Christmas tree. I want to use red and green, the traditional color for Christmas to decorate first. I luckily found out this free tutorial of the garland from this talented designer vickybarone. This project is pretty and also easy to make. I am so happy with the end result, as you can see, this garland goes great with the Christmas tree! The best material to make it is thick paper, so we have prepared the high quality recommendations for you.
Green suggestions: We have 2 or 3 green varieties found an our Variety Packs or you can explore all green paper

Then I wanted to create more paper decorations to put them all over the Christmas tree. I recalled a cute trick I learned on Pinterest called “onion bulbs”. They used paper strips to create the shape of teardrops and hearts. They’re inexpensive enough to remake each year, but sturdy enough that they can be stored for reuse for holiday seasons to come. Let’s make different colors of bulbs with the the free tutorial here offered by another talented designer ChrisJob. We thought this might be a perfect way to use some extra paper from the above project but you will modify a little since using 8-1/2-x-11. If you want to work this project using 12×12 – here is an easy guide to find some perfect 12×12 papers.
I was attracted by adding this Nordic style paper balls on the Christmas tree as well. They are from the artist Anu, whose family’s background is Finnish. She likes to incorporate Scandinavian Christmas decor and traditions in her works and hopes that more people will learn about their heritage. These Scandinavian style balls will add more fun to my Tree 🙂 Here is detail free tutorial link to make them.
