As all eyes are on the Royal Wedding it makes me think of rings as they are symbolic of many weddings. We may not all have the finest gold and gems to wear, but with some creativity and a little paper, we can still have fun and celebrate with these shimmery paper rings.

My project was inspired by Red Ted Art, jump to their easy to follow Youtube video and make a gem of a project today.

I recommend using Shine Papers, they offer a shimmer that presents a more jewel-like quality. I also suggest using text weight papers as the project calls for intricate folds. I chose to make a larger ring by using large sheets of paper (4-in x 5.5-in). Get creative and mix it up, just enjoy the project and spend time with loved ones.
