Treats inside a not so ordinary paper box – Paper Birdhouse Treat box

I found this fun project and thought it’s a great time of the year to create a little treat box with a Spring/Summer tone.  This is not an ordinary box for holding treats, instead it looks like a cute birdhouse. This paper birdhouse project can be decorated for the theme or color scheme of your choosing.

I found this fun idea from Paper is Bliss – Jump over to their blog to get the complete instructions for this project.  I’ve attached a few photos of my work.  I made two batches of this project… My first time around I used solid papers (pop-tone 65lb cover), then with the help of one of my co-workers, we found some fun printable patterns and we created round two with pattern prints – printed on PEARL 107LB Cover – I love how nicely the prints show on this card stock.  I used contrasting papers to finish off some of the trimmings.
