Tropical Flower Head Wreath

Making a flower crown is surprisingly easy, and you will no doubt impress your friends and loved ones with your gorgeous homemade creation. Although cutting the petals and blooms by hand can be time consuming (we are grateful for our cutting machine!), the result is something that can last for years to come, and it can be a super fun afternoon activity to do together with friends.

Whether you are going to a tropical themed party, or you simply want to wear something eye catching for your birthday, you can certainly find an occasion to wear this tropical flower head wreath!

Start this project by downloading the templates below and gathering your materials. Download the PDF if you are cutting by hand or the SVG if you have a cutting machine. Making a flower crown gives you a wonderful opportunity to play around with lots of color.

 We ended up using a mixture of Aloe, Fairway, Jellybean Green and Emerald for the leaves – the variety gave the crown some beautiful depth. For the blooms, we used Pink Lemonade, Pink, Gold and Cryogen White. You can find all the papers HERE, or you can browse to pick out your own colors! If you are picking your own colors, just be sure to pick out text weight papers.
