Crush Paper and Southwest Design celebrates Indian Summer
In a tribute to the celebrations this time of year, circles and leaves are in a design of hope. Hope for good fortune, good harvest and happy dreams.
The A9 card is a full sheet of Crush Almond, scored and folded. Crush paper Almond uses process residues from organic products to replace up to 15% of virgin pulp. Crush uses unique natural raw byproducts from citrus fruits, corn, olives, coffee, kiwi fruits, hazelnuts, cherries, lavender and almonds.
Almond is a soft brown that is a perfect background for FAV Shimmer, Pure Gold, a metallic mixture of pigments and iridescent particles.
Cut a 3 6/16″ circle in the Almond paper then cut a band of Pure Gold using the next circle set that is bigger. Place the cut out Pure Gold on the inside of the card to fill the hole in the Almond card.
Referring to the photo, before gluing down the Pure Gold circle band, use 5/16″ strips of Platinum Vellum and weave a design that crosses under the band. Open a pearl brad up and glue it flat in the center of the design.
Martha Stewart did the gold leaf stickers and the holographic “Imagine” is from Glitz & Glitter stickers. The red dots are bottle caps, but if you can’t find some, just use red paper. Crush Cherry is a nice match.
The A9 Envelope is Crush White Corn and is a great compliment for the soft brown Almond card. Enjoy.
