Eco-friendly Paper for celebrating life’s special moments

A wedding day is a special day to share with family and friends, celebrated with a keepsake invitation. For casual and fun invitations, Paper-Papers has Brown Bag Kraft in cardstock with matching envelopes; use the A7 for the invitation and the A2 for the RSVP.

Every color goes with the Brown Bag Kraft, so pick your favorites; the ones here are soft colors: Kiwi cover stock and Natural Citrus text paper, both by Favini Crush. Referring to the photos, a full sheet of Brown Bag Kraft is scored at 1 5/8″ and 6 1/2″. Score the bottom 1 1/2″, then cut the bottom so the right side folds up into a pocket for the RSVP card.

There are several ways to make the pocket: fold under the edges and taped them under or just turn the pocket up and tape under the edges. Either way will look great.

To make the Kiwi background on the invitation, cut it to 4 1/4″ wide by 10″ long and use a corner punch. This one is Martha Stewart’s Bubble Bath or use your favorite. Score the Kiwi to fold over the top and bottom evenly at 1 1/2″.

Before the edges were taped and glued down, the ribbons were taped down and decorated with a little tag by Martha Stewart: Scalloped Tag Punch. The RSVP is 10″ x 3 3/4″, scored and folded at 5 5/8″, so the top folds over 4 3/8″. The Kiwi background is 5 7/16″ x 3 3/4″; corner punched to match the invitation.

The wording is laser printed on Natural Citrus text that is a joy to print on. The invitation proper is 3 15/16 x 4 3/8 with the left over holes from the Bubble Bath punch glued to the top area. The bottom designs are fonts in the text program.

The RSVP is 3 1/4″ tall by 3 3/4″ wide. A corner rounder added a little extra design.   Add some contrasting Kiwi and the ribbon to the fold over flap, along with some contrasting red bling and you have a memory keepsake for a wonderful day.
