Graduation Celebration Card

To honor that journey this is a simple card that can be make quickly for any graduate to celebrate their success.

Start with the Indigo as the base card. It is a wonderful paper because it scores and folds perfectly, which what you do with a sheet of 8.5-inch x 11-inch. This will now fit in the A9 White Corn envelope.

The inside message and the cover message were printed on White Corn. After printing the “Twenty”, the White Corn was cut to 3.5-inch x 3.5-inch with the letters on the diagonal. To make the White Corn stand out, it was placed on a background of Pure Gold it was cut to 4.5-inch x 4.5-inch. Using ScorTape place the White Corn on the Pure Gold and place the Pure Gold on the Indigo as shown in the photos, side to side and little closer to the top. It is 1 3/8-inch from the bottom and 7/9-inch from the top. Trim the sides.

After printing your message for the inside on White Corn, cut the paper to 5-inch x 7.5-inch and ScorTape inside. The left side of the message is put up against the fold and centered inside with .5-inch as a border all around.  Use the inspirational message of your choice.  Put the graduation cap above the message and add your “19” and you are done. I added a little dab of Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Glue to the back of the cap to assure it sticks on the card. The cap is from Jolee’s Boutique, Black Graduation Cap, and the “19” is from EK Success, Sticko, Alphabet Stickers, Black. They are foam and raised 1/16-inch to add a little zest to the 3D Cap.
